Make Music Day

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world. This celebration in Kansas City is a live, free musical event on June 21, with concerts, food, and fun for people of all ages. Make Music Day builds on an idea started in France in 1982. This day each year should be dedicated to music, with no barriers to people playing and enjoying live performances and has now surfaced  to more than 125 countries.
